High-End Travel Switzerland's Review

The Badrutts Palace is situated ideally on a hill with breathtaking views of St. Moritz at the foot of the huge Rosatscher mountain chain. Directly across the hotel, you will discover well-known high-end boutiques and restaurants. It is a favorite for Celebrities and royalties since it opened in 1896. No wonder is it rated as one of the top Swiss hotels. In chic St. Moritz's legendary "champagne climate", the sun shines 322 days a year. Amazing if you think about it, we are in Switzerland and not in the Caribics. All the public areas of the Badrutts Palace Hotel are furnished luxuriously with antiques. Indeed, the basic structure is ancient, but made up to an architectural excess. However all guest-rooms provide a fresh and modern atmosphere. It is a bit discreet, but unlike many other high-end hotel rooms, they go for a third of the price. The porches and some of the suites, from the restaurants and the lounge area around the pool offer you magnificent views over the lake and the mountains. Badrutts Palace boasts excellent skiing, cross-country skiing, natural ice rinks, golf, windsurfing, an extensive tennis program, an excellent spa and more. It also hosts a number of high-class events, festivals and galas. The New Year's gala is special, as is the Annual Cartier Polo World Cup and the White Turf Events event on snow in February. The Badrutts Palace holds regular wine seminars and the Christian Dior Fashion Show where the "Crème de la Crème" of the St. Moritz money nobility shows up. However, the most important event of the St. Moritz Jet Set, the "Season Opening" at the famous Dracula Club is accessible only to Billionaires, Royalty and Celebrities.
