High-End Travel Switzerland's Review

The Grand Regina Alpin is one of the very few privately owned hotels at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau massif. It become a hotel in 1953 and still evokes the glamour of that time. You will notice it right away because it is furnished with a collection of antiques from the 18th and 19th century. Even one of the salons has Victorian chairs clustered around bridge tables. The bedrooms and suites are quite large and decorated in various styles. Almost all bedrooms have a perfect view to the famous Eiger North face. It is here at this 1,000 m vertical wall that the first direct helicopter mountain rescue worldwide was performed. If your wishes are not set too high, you could spend a wonderful vacation at this fine hotel and beautiful but quiet resort.
