The Hotel President Wilson is only 15 minutes from Geneva Cointrin International Airport. It is located directly on the right hand bank of Lake Geneva with magnificent views at the lake and the mountains. The Geneva main train station is less than 2 kilometers away and it is just steps from the Old Town.

Transportation
Take the train from Geneva Cointrin International Airport to Gare Cornavin, the city's main train station. From there it is only a 5-minute walk to the hotel. The airport as well as the hotel's concierge arranges car rentals. Valet parking and a limousine service are also available at the hotel. If you are already in the downtown area, bus number one gets to the Hotel President Wilson.

The hotel offers 180 beautifully decorated guest rooms and 53 suites. Some of the suites have a pretty view over the lake, while the others have a perfect city view.

Three restaurants that I highly recommend with the finest gourmet cuisine anywhere are the Domaine de Chateauvieux, the Ermitage Bernard Ravet, and the Restaurant Philippe Rochat.

The Hotel President Wilson has a beautiful outdoor pool; fitness center; spa; Jacuzzi; and sauna. It offers the latest equipment in the fitness centre, a relaxation area, and certified trainers. There are about 20 golf courses close to Geneva. The "golf club de Genève" is only a few minutes from the Hotel. Geneva is perfectly situated for Alpine hikes in the summer or skiing in the winter. Some of the Swiss high-end ski resorts - Gstaad, Crans Montana, or Verbier - are less than 2 hours away from Geneva.

The Hotel President Wilson renovation was more than 190 million Swiss francs and that is why it is now the new rising star of the Geneva luxury hotels. Its outstanding location on Lake Geneva offers one of the world's most fascinating views of the Swiss- and French Alps with Mont Blanc. From the hotel, you see the famous "Jet d'eau" and the charming Old Town with many historical buildings and some of the most beautiful parks in all of Europe.

The hotel's 233 guest rooms and suites are furnished with classic European styling, but some of the rooms are a bit small. When entering the rooms, you notice immediately the extensive use of wood and rich quality fabrics. You will notice also luxury extras in the marble bathrooms, full-length mirrors, dual basins, robes, bidets, and matching, elegant carpeting. One of the galleries displays a collection of 17th and 18th-century Gobelin tapestries. Three of the floors are reserved entirely for non-smokers.
