The Best Vehicle for an Offshore Corporation

Forming an offshore corporation is the way to go for private and corporate investors who wish to protect their assets. Additionally, all your business details are confidential and you or your company guaranteed total privacy. For many decades, Switzerland has been the preferred choice as an offshore destination for most business and individual investors.

This page is not advice, just the results of my research. So please do not base any decisions upon this -- financial advice is not my profession. I still hope that this information is useful for you. If you want solide, professional advice ...

When incorporating in Switzerland, it gives your company limited liability and exemptions on various government taxes. The political arena is more stable and progressive than in most countries in Europe.

The economy is very successful since the 50’s and sometimes we do not known ourselves how we did it. At the time being, (August 2007) the unemployment rate stands at around 2.5%. For this reason, forming an offshore corporation would greatly benefit you with a stimulating, very competitive, and growing economic environment. However, that alone is still not sufficient...

Switzerland is also geographically perfect to live in and you will enjoy a high-end lifestyle. We are a multilingual country with German, French, Italian, and Romansch as its official languages. However, English is the official business language and the children learn English in school at a relatively young age.

Our infrastructure is top modern and we are a leader in research and new technology. The train system is one of the most efficient that I know and connecting to our neighboring countries. The same goes for our national and international airports that provide flights to major destinations worldwide.

This is because Switzerland has become a model in its political, financial, and excellent tax heaven status. Plus incorporating here is easier than in other European countries such as France, the UK, or Germany.

Exchange controls are not existent, which allows you a flexible investment in any currency. And the best of all, there is also very little to zero personal and company tax obligations.

Your account should be in your company name

Holding companies especially greatly benefit from this tax system. There are also no taxes on dividends from holding companies. In addition, when you have an offshore corporation established, your Swiss bank account should be in the company name and not in your own name. Because with a corporate account, you enjoy more secrecy when wire transferring funds.

Be assured that when you incorporate in Switzerland, our banking system will protect your assets as well. Just recently, Swiss banks have undergone changes in regulation to prevent illegal money laundering. Serious business people certainly do not have to worry about that.

It is also to say that the Swiss banking system is very efficient and the interest rates low. The currency of the Swiss franc is quite strong, and the bankers have a lot of experience in international business dealings. Not to forget that the people are well educated and our labor force is highly skilled. Moreover, our labor market offers fair salary levels and the taxes for labors are quite reasonable.

Following a corporate tax reform in 1997, Switzerland has seen a dramatic influx of corporations from overseas. Geneva and Zurich in particular have become the headquarters to a number of very large corporations. At the same time, small companies have also increased.

Moreover, when you add up all these factors, is it any wonder why Switzerland has become the first address to form a company? It has proved worldwide to be one of the most attractive offshore incorporation locations. Sure, we have our share of bureaucracy too, but because our country is fairly organized and very efficient, you probably will not even notice that.

Using an offshore corporation to protect your assets

Many high Net worth individuals, celebrities and even some of the high earning sport stars use offshore corporations to protect their assets. Consider a sport star that lives in Switzerland and sets up a company. They pay very little tax for the annual earnings they take in.

So, for most "offshore private banking" and "asset protection" and "asset management" and "inheritance planning" and "tax consultations" and "trust formations" and "Swiss bank accounts" are topics that are dear to their hearts.

Switzerland is the perfect location for a vacation... for an offshore bank account... investing... and for forming offshore corporations.

So why should you think seriously about using an offshore corporation? Consider Switzerland to form an offshore corporation for the following situations...

• Small service corporation -- marketing, consulting

• Registering a Yacht or Airplane> -- registering your airplane, helicopter, or boat has advantages

• Manufacturing of Goods -- items to be sold to international markets by your offshore companies registered in Switzerland

• Worldwide Marketing of Intellectual Property -- artists, musicians, sport stars, models, anyone with intellectual property that be licensed

• International Trade -- buying low and selling high using an offshore corporation, most of your profits remain in your Swiss offshore corporation

• Internet offshore corporations -- software development (like Microsoft), data storage

Experts tell us that the average person in the USA suffers five lawsuits in his or her lifetime. If one of those is a "killer" lawsuit, then probably most or all of your assets are taken away. Not all the countries in the world are as lawsuit friendly as the USA. But the objective becomes quite clear - - protect your assets and grow your finances in a tax heaven like Switzerland.
