High-End Travel Switzerland's Review

Situated in a unique location, the Suvretta House is 2 km to the west of St. Moritz with magnificent views to the Suvretta-Corviglia winter sport and hiking region. From the front door of the hotel, you have direct access to the Corviglia ski slopes and their own private ski school. The hotel reflects a certain old-world charm of its heritage but with the most modern amenities and is a perfect place for relaxation. The hotel's trademark is the Edwardian facade with its two-neomedieval towers and a baroque central gable. The large guest rooms in traditional alpine style are luxurious and the bathrooms are tiled. Some of the areas are richly grained in Engadine oak paneling. It is since May 1st 1989, that Suvretta House is under management of Helen and Vic Jacob, who run the hotel in accordance with the philosophy of the "Bon family". Helen and Vic greet their guests personally when they arrive and depart and are "on call" around the clock. The three hundred-member work force at the hotel makes sure that guests always have everything they need. Their motto: nothing is impossible. Although up to four hundred guests reside at the hotel in peak periods, there is never a feeling of being a part of a crowd. On the contrary, being at the Suvretta House is most stimulating!
